Need To Rent A Portable Toilet? 5 Different Types Of Toilets You Can Rent

If you need to rent a portable toilet, it is essential to know what type of portable toilet you should rent. There are multiple types of portable toilets you can rent — you need to know which one is the right one for your needs.

Type #1: Standard Portable Toilet

The most basic toilet you can rent is a standard portable toilet. It is made from plastic, and when you open up the inside, there is a basic toilet with an opening on the top. The top opens up to a bigger pit down below, where the waste is decomposed with the chemicals in the mixture.

Type #2: ADA-Accessible Portable Toilet

Next, you can rent an ADA-accessible portable toilet. This type of toilet is more significant than a standard portable toilet but is basically a similar structure. It is designed to be larger and wider than a standard toilet. It will have a ramp leading up to it so that someone with a wheelchair or walker can easily access the toilet. If you are having a public event, it is a good idea to have an ADA-accessible portable toilet so that everyone who attends your event can access the toilet.

Type #3: Standard Toilet with Sink

With a standard toilet with a sink, you will have a toilet that is the same as a standard portable toilet. Inside the unit, you will have a sink with running water and a soap dispenser and paper towels to dry your hands. A toilet with a sink is nice so that your guests can clean their hands before they even leave the bathroom.

Type #4: Baby Changing Station

Fourth, you can rent a portable toilet with a baby changing station. These types of toilets are often called family bathrooms. They have a regular toilet, as well as a changing station. They tend to be on the larger side, like the ADA-accessible toilets. They are supposed to provide enough room for a parent to take one or two young children into the bathroom at the same time.

Type #5: Flushable Portable Toilet

Fifth, you can also rent a flushable portable toilet. These types of toilets tend to be a little more on the expensive side. When you go to the bathroom with a flushable portable toilet, the waste is carried away to a holding tank instead of just plopping into a hole underneath you.

Some flushable portable toilets are very advanced. They may also include a sink with running water and a mirror. They are designed to feel more like a regular indoor toilet.

When it comes to portable toilet rentals, you have a lot of options. First, you need to think about who will be attending your event and what their needs are and work from there to figure out what type of portable toilets you need to rent.
